Beverly Bradford
(Executive Producer /
Project Manager) -
“ARTS
IN
EDUCATION”
Beverly
Bradford, a resident of Orlando
and is no stranger to the Arts. She
has a B.A. in Drama and a Minor in
Speech Communication. Her Masters
Degrees are in Education and Special
Education. She has post graduate
credentials from Winthrop University
in Educational Leadership and
Supervision. She has over seventeen
years experience as a classroom
teacher and school administrator for
the public school system. Her
professional Theatre credits are in
production management, stage
management, costume designs and
fundraising. She has experience
in directing summer camp programs
with the Parks and Recreations of
Richland County and the Chicago
Parks and Recreations. She is
currently the Executive Director
of the Southwest United Communities,
Inc., and Director of
Universal Child Care Development
Center, now a national
accredited Arts school for Preschool
Children. Ms. Beverly has the
overall responsibility for the
organization’s fundraising,
programs, Arts In Education
Initiatives, publications, grant
writing, community projects,
personnel management and finances.
She works closely with the Board of
Directors to set both policy and
strategic planning. She is a member
of the Downtown Arts District
Board of Directors. During the
2005 holiday, she was instrumental
in bringing to the city of Orlando
“Soulful Noel”, a multicultural
community theatre production that
involved over 5,000 children from
the Orange County Public School
System and the City of Orlando.
She was instrumental in organizing
the school performance at the T.D.
Water House Center renamed the Amway
Center.
